Lots of prayer goes into each design that I make. I have been known to slip in the shower in excitement when I see a design or wake up at 4 AM, and jump out of bed to get to work. Oftentimes I don't know the “why” of something until I start to research the meaning behind pieces and it all makes sense. I work directly with suppliers to source many of my materials.
Learning how to make jewelry on the streets of San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf was a pivotal turning point in my childhood. It gave me the ability to work with my hands creating art. I always viewed fashion as art and had dreams of attending art school.
