Plumerias Sparkle Earrings

Plumeria or Frangipani is a gorgeous flower that reminds me of the sunset. I have only seen them in person when I was in Hawaii a few times but they’re intoxicatingly beautiful. 

Their scent is magic and they have some interesting properties:

The strength to withstand tough challenges … florists say that to have this flower burn it had to be heated to over 500°F so it is ridiculously strong. 

Connecting with spirits and ghosts… Chinese and Vietnamese believe there are spirits in the branches of these bushes and they seem them as unlucky. 

Welcoming guests and inviting them to stay, due to its use in Hawaiian leis…associated with love and beauty. It is not the state flower of Hawai’i that’s the hibiscus 🌺 

Intense love and a lasting bond between two people which is why it’s used in Southern Indian cultures as a wedding flower. 

The Buddhist and Hindu cultures feel the frangipani symbolizes immortality and spiritual devotion spanning over multiple lifetimes.
